Are you a senior leader in a children’s charity ready to take on a strategic role with real impact? Charity Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a fantastic children’s charity to recruit an experienced Responsible Individual (RI).

This is an opportunity to play a critical leadership role ensuring exceptional care for young people with complex disabilities. As Responsible Individual, you will act on behalf of the provider to ensure the children’s homes operate in full compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations and Quality Standards. You will provide strategic oversight, strengthen safeguarding and regulatory compliance, and support Registered Managers to deliver outstanding outcomes for children and young people. This is an office based role.

Working closely with the CEO and Trustees, you will ensure the charity continues to deliver safe, high-quality care while supporting future growth and service development.

The Role:

As Responsible Individual, you will provide strategic leadership, regulatory oversight, and operational support to ensure the homes operate to the highest possible standards.

Requirements

.

About You:

Experience as a Responsible Individual or the ability to demonstrate suitability for the Ofsted RI interview

Significant senior leadership experience within children’s residential care

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection legislation

Proven ability to meet regulatory requirements and work positively with Ofsted

Experience supporting children with physical, learning, or sensory disabilities

NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

Enhanced DBS and full UK driving licence
